How much does SEON cost?

Is there a trial period?

Yes. SEON will run in parallel to your current software for 4 weeks in which time installation and training will be administered free of charge.

Where do I get my login details?

What will upskilling of my staff look like?

SEON provides a full spectrum of training materials as well as both digital and physical training modules. Your SEON Account Executive will be happy to assist you with developing your individual training plan.

Features & Functionality

Can responders refuse an alarm?

No, the responder do not have the option to refuse an alarm. If there are problems the responders can request the controller to reassign the alarm.

How many signals can SEON process simultaneously?

SEON is tested for up to 150 signals per second per port.

How does auto-dispatch work?

After a preconfigured timeout period, SEON will triangulate the three responders closest to the incident. Based on the priority of their current assignment, available routings and traffic conditions, the algorithm will decide which of these responders to dispatch.

What built-in redundancy is there of the control room?

With regards to connectivity, there are 3 levels.

1. Connected to your onsite ethernet
2. There is a backup GSM module built into the SEON Box in case your onsite network gets interrupted
3. If there is no network available, the SEON Box will save the data and upload it to the network as soon as connectivity is restored

Do you have a technical job cards feature within the SEON software?

Yes.

Do you have a billing feature within the SEON software?

Yes.

How do we access the SEON Control Room & MIS?

This is accessed via the cloud through your browser - SEON recommends using Google Chrome. We will provide you with your login credentials once we have set up your company. Click here to login.

Is SEON cloud or server-based?

SEON is cloud-based. The only piece of hardware is our SEON box which is a physical industrial server the size of a modem. Its function is translating alarm strings into the cloud.

What can clients control from the app?

"They can raise a mobile panic anywhere within your response area (this can be turned off and on depending on client) , Ability to cancel false alarms via the App, thus reducing operating costs.They can receive push notifications, but cannot control them. You decide what alarm types you want to send to them "

When mapping an area are we able to geo fence sectors?

Yes, you can split your response area into 'Main Areas' & can therefore split your emergency stack into these areas

System compatability

Which base stations can I use with SEON?

SEON works with all major base stations incl. FSK, Finmon, RDC, AJAX, Maks and Olarm.

What devices are compatible with the SEON Responder app?

Any iOS (version 8 or later) or Android (version 8 or later) device is compatible with the SEON End-User app.

How will SEON match our SOP?

Your SEON Account Executive will request your operational SOP guidelines, and ensure that all of them are understood and covered.

What hardware will we need to run SEON?

You will need Android smartphones for your responders, a computer for your controllers and the SEON box for signal processing.

How will SEON require my Controlroom to change?

There are no additional requirements for your control room. The same computer-system (as long as it has internet access), will allow for the controllers to log into your company profile.

How do we get our historic customer data into the SEON system?

SEON will import all your historic client data from your latest backup.
